Everyone has heard stories about ordinary people thrust into the role of hero by saving someone from drowning or helping during times of great disaster. Not many of us will ever have the need for that type of heroics. But we can all participate in making the world a safer and more compassionate place if we just take the time to look around, see a need and fill it. You can be a hero to an Equus or DreamCatcher horse by joining the sanctuary’s Adopt-a-Horse Project. By enrolling as a monthly sponsor you provide the necessary support to provide a sanctuary horse with feed, housing and veterinary care. The number of horses we can care for is always dependent on sponsorship funding. That’s why your support literally saves a life.
